An Urgent Call to Join the Civil Disobedience Movement

The following submission is made possible by the team behind Breaking Brainwashed.

As the revolution persists, the revolutionaries only become stronger in their fighting abilities and arms. They are steadily eroding the military's power.

In states such as Kayin, Kayah, Sagaing, Chin, Magway, and Kachin, the military has been losing significant influence. In other regions, they have been decimated by guerrilla warfare and land mine ambushes.

According to statistics, over 2000 soldiers have died just in the state of Kayin. And this is only one state! They are suffering losses in other states as well. There are no new recruits coming in to replace the fallen, and the military is desperately clinging to power with the few soldiers it has left. They try to spin a narrative that the fallen soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, but the truth is that they are being sacrificed for the greed of their superiors.

Right now, the families of those who have fallen are struggling without their breadwinners. The wives of these soldiers cannot even return to their hometowns because of their association with the military. Some of these widows are forced to take on odd jobs to make ends meet, and they are not treated well by the military either. They have to rent small apartments and wait for their husbands' belongings, while some soldiers try to take advantage of them. Sometimes, they are even exploited by their own kind. In the midst of political turmoil, their children's futures are thrown into disarray and their education is interrupted.

They are stripped of their dignity and forced to fight for their livelihoods. All of these hardships can be traced back to the power-hungry dictator Min Aung Hlaing. He has everything he could possibly want in life, but he cannot resist the temptation to become president! Meanwhile, the families of military personnel have the chance to escape these problems, but they have chosen the wrong path. They need to understand that the Civil Disobedience Movement can help them restore their dignity and become the people's soldiers. It may be difficult at first, but in the long run it will be worth it. It is sad to see some wives following their foolish husbands and ending up widowed.

Currently, the tyrannical leader Ming Aung Hlaing is using his soldiers on the front lines as if they are disposable tools. This shows that he has no regard for their lives and is only concerned with maintaining his own power.

There is overwhelming evidence of the military committing atrocities and war crimes, killing civilians and raping women. So, the women in the military must be intelligent and educated enough to do the right thing, rather than blindly following their ignorant husbands. They need to realize that however powerful their husbands may seem, they are just rabbits in the face of the women's wisdom. By standing with the Civil Disobedience Movement, they can not only save their husbands' lives, but also the future of their families.

It is only in hindsight that we feel regret, but you can still avoid it by joining the good side and participating in the Civil Disobedience Movement.

Long live the revolution!
