Washable Menstrual Pads

We are pleased to support a very important project sponsored by the local group, Sisters 2 Sisters. We have allocated some funds towards their requested needs, but we hope to be able to support their good work to a greater extent! Please consider a donation earmarked towards this important cause.

This project concerns the distribution of washable menstrual pads to women in suburban Yangon, who currently face a host of challenges, including low income and rising commodity prices, making it difficult for them to afford basic necessities like sanitary pads. The initiative addresses essential needs by improving health and hygiene, alleviating financial burdens, and promoting environmental sustainability. Sisters 2 Sisters hopes these kits can empower women by ensuring they can manage their menstrual cycles with dignity and without economic strain. Their effort also fosters a sense of community, breaks down stigmas associated with menstruation, and contributes to a more sustainable and equitable society.

Each kit, priced at around $9, includes three cotton pads, nine liners, and one instruction sheet. Your support in this endeavor would make a meaningful impact on the lives of these women, addressing a crucial aspect of their hygiene needs.  We hope you can help!
